Happy Wednesday, Fankind! Here are a couple of new books we have in store for you:


ANGEL #0 from Boom Studios. Happy Wednesday Fankind! It looks like the weather has cleared for a bit, so now is a great time to pick up some new comics, including:


AVANT-GUARDS from Boom! Studios. Welcome to the Georgia O’Keeffe College of Arts and Subtle Dramatics, a historically all-female school whose population is decidedly more drama geek than jock. Liv, aspiring actor and basketball enthusiast, doesn’t understand why she can’t be both, but she seems alone in that belief… until Charlie. Charlie is a recent transfer, a star basketball player, and the answer to all of Liv’s problems. She’ll stop at nothing to get Charlie to join the ragtag group of misfits that make up their fledgling basketball team.

Happy Chip Zdarsky Day, Fankind!!! And we are celebrating it with:

DAREDEVIL #1 from Marvel Comics. After the events that put Matt Murdock close to death, he is back protecting Hell’s Kitchen. But, is it too soon? With art by Marco Checchetto and color by Sunny Gho, Chip Zdarsky has taken the reins of the man without fear. And while Chip may be known for his sense of humor, this book is something every Daredevil fan (and non-Daredevil fans) needs to pick up. I think this will be one of the great runs on this title.
